300 Utility Hydraulic Problems

I have two 300 utility tractors. Each one has one hydraulic problem. On the first tractor the fast hitch will bleed down and drop all the way down after sitting overnight. Do I have a check valve that is leaking? On the second tractor it has a McCormick U34B loader and when I drive it the lift cylinders extend and retract a lot causing the bucket to bounce up and down. Do I have air trapped in the system? Thank you in advance for any advice.

On the first one I would say your check valve is leaking. Air in the line on the second one sounds like a very possible cause.

I'll add to BK's content with the idea that the cylinder on the hitch could also be bypassing fluid. This will also cause lowering. (bad piston seals, or scored cylinder. JimN

ON YOUR FAST HITCH BLEEDING DOWN,I THINK THE CHECK VALVE IS THE BLOCK UNDER THE CONTROL LEVER BLOCK;IT HAS A NAME LIKE CROSS CHECK?? VALVE. ON YOUR LOADER I THINK IT IS AIR IN THE CYLINDERS;MINE WAS LIKE THAT AFTER UNHOOKING IT ALL SUMMER AND THEN PUTTING IT ON: AFTER USING IT THE AIR SELF BLED OUT. MY FAST HITCH WON'T BLEED DOWN IF IT SITS HOLDING AN IMPLEMENT UP FOR A MONTH. MARK
