re-torquing the head, While hot or let it cool?

I know the valves are to be set while they are hot. So do you retorque the head while it is hot also, or let it cool, retorque the head, and then warm it up again to set the valves?

Initial torque cold then warmer it up and retorque.

Not sure what you are working on but on the small letter series (A/B -> 140) you have to remove the rocker assembly to get to the nuts.
