MD will not run on Diesel

MD farmall run when I loaded on trailer and then when I drove it off the trailer and now will start when I run it with Diesel but will run with gasoline. There is no pressure on gauge and also there is no air in lines.

Is your diesel shut off opening when you switch it over. Or maybe a plugged line on diesel side.

I assume you are starting on gasoline, and switching to diesel. They will not start on diesel for any reason (unless pulled for quite a distance).
If it will not run on diesel and it was, it might be linkage issues. A manual is necessary for figuring them out. They are pretty complex. If it was purchased near you, talk to the Prior owner to see if he/she can help. JimN

Without pressure on the gauge, it ain't going to happen.

They will sometimes run for several minutes with the fuel shut off, living on fuel in the filters.

Check the shutoff valve under the tank (been there done that). Then bleed the AUX filter. Start it and then bleed the primary filter (which is pressurized). Let us know if it still don't fire.

Direct starting will kill a Bendix is short order, and those heads were never intended for cold starts. It a matter of time in both cases.
