M Farmall question

I know that when you drain the rear end of a M farmall, it takes about 13 gallons to fill it. My question is does the rear end, the transmission and belly pump run off the same 13 gallons? My other question is where do you fill it and how do you know when it is full? Any advice or pictures would be helpful. Thanks

the fill plug for the rear end/trans is right by the base of the shifter. you need a 3/4 drive to fit in the plug to unscrew it. a 1/2 inch to 3/4 adapter works if you dont ahve a 3/4 drive set. on the left side of the tractor kinda by the clutch pedal and brake housing is a small square heas pipe plug. that is the sight hole to see if the trans is full. the belly pump holds about 6 qts of either 30 wt motor oil, or, i run hy-tran in my pumps. the belly pump is seperate.
