I have a C22 sickle mower that i use on a Farmall 130.Will this mower also fit a Farmall Cub? I plan to sell it to a man that has a 1952 cub.

Probably not interchangable, the pto on a cub turns opposite direction and faster than on the 130, also the size difference of the tractors will come into play.

ACTUALLY, the No. 22 (1A) mower is the one to fit the SA/100/130/140, while the No. 22 (Cub) is designed for the Cub.

According to the IH General Line Catalog, Revision 41, dated February 1959, under "HAY MACHINES-Mowers-Page 5", it states "All 22 series mowers are basically alike in design and construction, but are applicable to different tractors."

And while PTO pulley size will take care of the RPM difference, think about it: on a sickle mower, the rotation of the shaft creates back-and-forth motion in the pitman and the knife, no matter which way the PTO turns...so rotation direction doesn't matter. Correct pulley size for the PTO speed is what DOES matter.

all fine and dandy
HOWEVER one for a cub will not bolt up to one for a 100,130,140, nor will it bolt up to a cub loboy. most parts may interchange not certain but not the mounts

Welder: The Cub mower will not work on a SA, 100, 130 or 140, nor will the SA, 100, 130 and 140 mower work on a Cub. The problem being different rotation of the PTO. The pitman arm flywheel is threaded onto shaft, and will spin off threads when used in wrong direction.

Save yourself a lot of work changing the mounting, only to find it won't work.
