M wide front end on IHC H

Will a wide front end off an IHC M fit an IHC H ? What alterations are necessary ? The front end I have came off a M. It is the old style with the control rods in the front. It was mounted in the "Short Position" on the M so it has an adapter plate.

The M has a 20in wide frame and H has an 18in frame. The holes in the upper pedistal plate are also different. If you have a good torch and cosmetics don't count I am sure it would be doable. Clem

All you need it a "blue tip" wrench.
