cub 100 garden tractor

i am looking at a cub 100 10hp. dont run. has wheel weights and not real sure on condition? is that a ok deal for $120. i have all green stuff but my little H js is kind of hard on the grass in my yard. is the cub hard to work on? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your time George

I am a cub guy as well as a farmall guy. I have a 1964 104 cub that mows better than my new 2542 cub. You can get any part you want for them and there are alot of clubs, plow days and a good forum. IHregistry.com The guys one ihregistry are just like the guys here they are freindly and know alot. $120.00 isn't bad if the tractor is complete, and the deck is in good shape.

That's not a bad price at all. As long as the engine is complete you can overhaul them for as little as a few hundred dollars if you are somewhat handy with a wrench.

If you get carried away and "restore" it a nice looking 100 will sell in the $700-$1100 range.
