super m main bearing cap ???s

putting the crank in the super m, cant remember which way the caps go on. do the bearing keepers stay on the same side or are they across from each other. been awhile since this thing was pulled apart

Never been that deep into an M, but the I&T shows the rod bearings for models to be the same, put the numbered end of the cap on the cam side. Unfortunately it doesn't say anything about orienting teh mains. Getting into the IH books for the 113, they say to put the numbered end of the main caps in the same way, with the number on the cam side. Pretty good chance but no guarantee it would be the same for the M.

you can't get the bolts in if you have them in backwards.
