'48 Cub Crankshaft fan pulley

I just bought a '48 Cub and am working on getting it going. The starter is bad, so I decided to hand crank it. I did get it started, but the rachet teeth for the crank are about worn out, or broken, I can't tell which. Question is, is the rachet part of the pulley, or is there a nut that holds the pulley on that has the teeth in it like Ford 8N's? I can't find any reference to a nut in the parts book, which makes me think maybe there isn't one. Thanks, Roland

The pulley is press fit to the crank shaft there is a 1/2 13 thread in the end of the crank shaft and there shouldn't be any bolts in the end of the crank

be very carefull pulling that pulley off it will break if not done just right

lots of good cub info at farmallcub.com
used parts at Ralphscubs,com
new part at IH dealer and TMtractors.com

good luck
Ron
