H Misfiring

Just wanted to thank everyone who replied to H misfiring. I tightened all the manifold and carb bolts which was good because some were not as tight as they should be. Nothing changed on the missing. It still missed after about 2 hours of running. I purchased and installed metal core Belden cables and changed spark plugs. I found one plug wire end that goes into the cap in bad shape and one plug with part of the ceramic missing on the center electrode. I am now waiting for a cap, points and condensor from NAPA. I still have to check the carb adj. I will run and report after grass cutting on Saturday.

Let us know if those parts help. If they don't do a compression test on all 4 cyls. Hopefully the missing ceramic didn't get caught part way in a valve when closing and cause the seat or valve face to burn and leak.
