got most of the painting done got started on the gas tank, hood and grile well....thats untill the paint had runs... found that i needed to spend more time on the body work cant seam to get it just rite and then i got bugs in it too

I don't know what type of paint or your experience with painting but the reducer type is important with synthetic enamel. There are different types depending on the temperature you are painting at. This can drastically reduce runs if the paint dries at the right speed. The bugs are the most irritating. They got in my hood and it was perfect. Had to sand the whole thing down and start over. I waited for a cooler day when they weren't out. Good luck on the next try.

thanks, today is cool but windy will try latter in the day . i have painted 3-4 cars trucks with no big troulble. can get tractors done if it wasnt bugs or runs
