Does anyone know if they made an M with a factory 3 point? And does anyone know if/where a guy can find a M&W dual carb set up for an M?
 
No factory 3 pt was ever put on the M. No IH tractors had a 3pt till the mid 60's.

The first lift hitch that IH used was the 2 pt(fasthitch). It was first put on the Super C in 1953 I believe .
 

The factory 3 point hitch was not a factory option. Basically because the patent for the 3 point was owned by Ferguson, and no one else could use it.

The 2 barrell carb and manifold set-ups show up on ebay from time to time, but hold on to your check book.
 
I was curious about the 3 point because I saw a M on external_link in Mississippi that said it was a factory 3 point, the pic shows the top arms coming out from under the seat....
 
Don't think M&W sold a 2 barrel, may be wrong.
Hystler(spelling?) sold one. If you got the bucks to get one make sure its complete with the throttle tube to governor.
Tractor you saw was maybe a British B 450 or part of one.
