Best place to jack rear of Super A

I need to remove my rear tire to get the rim changed - what is the best place to jack it up? I am guessing it will remain on the jack a few days, can I put some timbers down anywhere to rest it on that?

Thanks.

If they didn't change the casting too much from As and Bs, you should find jack pads under your differential for jacking the left side, and another near the outer end of the diff shaft housing (under the seat) for jacking the right side. Cross-stacked wood blocking will do the trick nicely.

I agree with Scotty. If you look under your Super A you will see jack pads under both sides. Good luck.

I just did a new rim on my A. I use a jack under the floor board where there is a jack pad. It took me about 20 minutes to change out the rim. Only a four bolt job. If you have a new rim they take 4 inch bolts, not 3". I put new grade 8 bolts in with washers. Henry

Steve: For changing tires, I just put a bottle jack under drawbar plate that bolts to final drive. Much faster and tractor is more stable.

The spot others are telling you is great if your removing a final drive.

I do em just like Hugh said. I place the jack next to the final to avoid bendint the drawbar. Just jacked a B testerday to replace a tire.
