Two names for same unit or what?

Show picture ot describe terminals & locations, & markings, from what car?

I may have it in some of my manuals.

If memory serves the Hitachi's S and L markings denote "sense" and "lamp" terminals (short for voltage sense and warning lamp respectively).

On the Delco 10SI #1 is the warning lamp and #2 is the voltage sense. Therefore your Hitachi's S = Delco terminal #2 and L = Delco terminal #1.
