My dad drove H again

I just wanted to share with you that my dad drove his H for the first time since his stroke last fall. He did really well backing the tractor and disk out of the shed. He then drove it around the yard.

I fixed up most of the mechanical issues and gave it a good steam cleaning while he was recovering. He had to sell his place, but the tractor is at my place and we will put it to good use.

Thats AWESOME dont know yo guys but anytime that a person is able to get back "in the saddle" is awesome. Congrates to your dad.

David, that is awesome. My dad and his uncle bought Ms in 1951, at the same time, with serial numbers one right after the other. He started farming with his M.
My dad's M got away from him, but I have my great uncles tractor that I restored. Now evey time I get the old M out, he jumps up on it and wants to play, the look on his face is priceless, and the memories he has on the seat of the old M, has to be great. And the info and memories he has passed on to me about that old M is priceless.

I betcha everyone felt a bit better after that little drive. Funny how those types of things have some curative power.
