1941 Farmall A

If you have a three positon light switch and a black cap on face of the panel for a fuse holder, someone somewhere along the line used/borrowed the wiring for a Super A.

Not a big deal. If it is that type of fuse holder in a position like that, you want an SFE-20.

If you're talking about the small fuse (more typical of an A) that is mounted inside the panel on the back of the switch and not terribly accessible) I can't find a listing for it. I do recall that it's small. If I can find the box with the rest of them, I'll post back. Meantime, if that's what you need, maybe whoever got the specs for that one for me way back when will chime in.

Thanks Scotty, It is inside the Dash and a pain to get to. The tractor is 6 volt, positive ground. I put a 20 amp in and it worked for a while till it blew. Just wondered what the correct amperage was.

Brings up another thought. What kind of lighting do you have? Is it the Bosch no-battery system or the MUCH more common Delco lighting and starting with generator and battery?

If it's the Delco, my best recollection is that it was just a thread of a fuse element inside there, maybe 3 or 5 amps. (A quick spin through teh garage didn't turn up my spares) 20A sounds awful heavy. All that's on it is your lights, so you might want to look around for a short somewhere, chafed wire, bad switch on the rear light if it's a combo . . .

On the really far off chance it's the Bosch system, I've never even laid eyes on one, but I do see that it has two fuses. From the diagrams, one mounted on the switch body, and another separate. No indication in the book of what either of them was for size or load. 8^(

Same capacity fuse is called out for all the A lighting systems. Don't have the size listed but 20 sounds about right.
