How ya doing fellas, I haven't posted for quite some time. I need some help with a H serial number . It is 333820 X1B. I have never seen that B on the end before and was curious about its significance if any.. I'm still keeping the Farmalls running here in Illinois, some of the ones ya work on now are pretty tired though.

Thanks for input.. PS. How ya doing COWMAN

If I remember right the b was low low first gear. The x1 was gas only and had higher compression factory. Feel free to correct me about the B. Im not near my book.

I knew it had to be something like that but I wasn't sure. I have worked on over 100 H's just had never seen that. Must have been used for corn pickin.
Wonder how many were factory produced that way?

Ya think ya know a tractor, Thanks, Tim K.

Where the real low low would be a help would be on a chopper (inslage cutter/forage harvestor, depending on what part of the country you are from)... corn picker should not be a problem.
