Delayed 2 point response

I have a 756 international that I just purchased. The 2 point takes almost 20 seconds to raise after I have adjusted the lever up. Down time is instant. I have also attached a loader, and the response time and pressures are fine on those hydraulics. I don’t believe it can be an issue with the pump, fluid or filter if all external hydraulic cylinders work fine. What can I do to get the rocker arms to raise as soon as I adjust the lever?

Your problem is in the unloading valve circuit. Probably a little contamination in the orfice in the unloading piston or bad o-ring. You can verify that unloading valve is problem by positioning hitch lever and then immediately dead head one of the loader valves, like have bucket fully up and pulling lever to try to pull it further. If hitch responds immediately you know where to look. Look at the parts layout on CaseIH site to locate valve if you don't have the manuals.

Thanks for the quick response pete 23. I tried the verifying procedure you recommended and it worked just as you had described. It took me a little while to find the layout on the website, but I finally did, so thanks for that info also. Now I can at least focus on fixing the right issue. Thanks again.
