international 404 brakes

I have taken the brake housing off & removed the operating assembly.....the right operating assembly does not appear to have been operating for a long time (rusty & wear surfaces covered with rust or?)...the brake operating rod (#370875R1)is bent & threads damaged.Questions...does anyone have the bent part ,2 springs (354627r1)extension springs, or perhaps a complete assembly (364837R91)
How important is the surface of the face that contacts the brake disc? do I oil & or grease the internal parts when reassemling (not the contact surface with the brake disc.
It should be clear buy now that I am a complete dummy when it comes to things mechanical, but am willing to learn.
Any & all help will be appreciated!

That is the same brake as on my 240U... have you tried your CIH dealer? I had the brakes done on my 240U, but all it needed was new discs, and they are available several places... think I got them for about $15+/- per side. Don't recall if any of the parts places had other pieces, but I think there were some parts available... I just searched the internet. For used parts, I got some from JP Salvage, so I know they have at least one tractor that would have had your parts. If they don't, try Bridgeport in Nebraska.

I use a little never seize on the internal parts and rod. make sure all the surfaces are clean without oil, smooth and the marbles are round....James

Jwa110,
Thank you for your comment....question on the wear surfaces...they were really rusty ...I removed the rust (glaze?) & the surfaces is pretty rough & has some shallow pitting.....how smooth is "smooth".....just I have have then machined? This brake assembly oviously has not working in some time ...I am talking about only the right brake operating assembly....the left one is in prety good shape with only minor surface blemishs & no pitting.
I hope I can figure how to reassembly ...I did not pay as close attention as I should have when I took them out of the housings. I am not sure how they fit bacj=k in the housing & where the spring inside the housing attaches to the operating assembly.
Any & all help would be appreciated!!!
