Farmall H serial number significance

I am looking at an H with the serial number FBH-38543 as a Christmas present for my dad. I think this would make it from the 1940 model year.

Is there any significance to this serial number range or model year that would make it unique?

No, serial is too high. Serials around 15000 or less had a different transmission cover and seat, some say those are more valuable. The earliest ones also had 36 inch tires.

the H's in 1939 and 1940 had diff. PTO's. They were weaker than the 1941 and newer models. Found that out the hard way.
