Serial # tag info Model FC?

I found a fence row IH tractor. I know its an IH but dont know the model. It says, Model FC. I know my H has FBH on its tag. So does it make this tracctor a model C? Serial #14102.

Yep, its a 1948 C. Good find, tough little tractors, replaced the B, should have the same 113 CI engine, probably upgraded to a 123 sometime in its lifetime. It'll have 36" rears, used are almost impossible to find in our part of the world. New ones will run around $400 each, just put a set on a 36 F-20 with the same sized tires. (My $0.02 worth-jal-SD)

I almost dont want to get into that tractor the more I think about it. Its missing the head, motor is probly junki, front end, most sheet metal, and lots of other stuff. By the time I buy the missing things probly could find a running used one a lot cheaper. But restoring em is fun, but this is alot of work and I dont think its vary rare.
