Farmall B H4 Mag Weak Spark

I have done some searching on this, and it looks like the Mag needs to be rebuilt. Was just looking for some more info first.. I have install new points, cap, rotors, condensor, wires and plugs. Timing is set, I can see spark at the coil wire, but I have no spark at the spark plugs themselves.. Now if I install one of those spark testers with light, it will flash every revolution.. Install the plugs nothing.. I am guessing the magnet must be getting weak.. What is the easier repair for this? Or if you have any other ideas as to what it might be.. BTW the condensor ground wire to kill the tractor is unhooked.. I dont think its grounding out anywhere.. Seems to have good spark at the coil..
 
Do you have the right cap? If you've got good spark off the coil wire, the only thing between that and the plug wire is rotor and cap.
 
Make sure the gear that drives the rotor is in time. The mark on the small gear has to match up to the R on the big gear.
 
ASSUMING the points and condenser or GOOD, and you have the internal timing set correctly and have the correct cap and rotor, a weak coil is the next most likely cause of a weak spark.

have the correct cap. I check the rotor gear and it seems to be lined up. Where is number one on the cap, lower right hand side when looking at it from the seat? Thanks!
 
Yeah see mine is more like 4, it runs.. I pull started it today and it fired right up.. I have double checked the timing gears and they line up on each mark.. I have it set for clockwise on the gear like it should be.. I also have copper wires.
