Farmall 300 400 Wheel Bearings

Do a 300 and 400 use the same wheel bearings? I know the 400 bolster is taller and has a wider bolt patterns but are the axle shafts the same? Have a wide front to put on the 400 and the 300 needs new wheel bearings. Can I take the bearings off the 400 bolster and put them on the 300 bolster?

Maybe, maybe not. Look at the part number on the cast hub. Most likely the 400 has heavier duty hubs than the 300, but it is also possible that the same hubs might have been used on both. If the part numbers on the hubs are different, the bearings and spindles are different also.
