My 1945 gas Farmall M runs pretty well until I go up hills, it starts sputtering and shuts off. I changed the plugs and wires today. Ran a little bit better but still bogs down on the hills. Just wondering what I should look at next. Thanks for your time.

Water in the fuel, As it goes up hill the level in the tank changes enough to allow some of the water to get into the intake stem of the sediment bowl Water in the carb bowl can also cause the symptom Clean out any rust in the tank, and the strainer in the fitting at the carb inlet. Clean all lines, (do not use a auto filter in the line!!) and see what you find. JimN

JimN's idea is a good one. I'd just add low fuel as something even simpler. Not pickin' on ya, but it happens.

Check your fuel flow to the carb, take off the line, it should run fuel until you shut the fuel off.
Did you put the right plug wires on it? If you bought automotive plug wires, that could be an issue. You need solid wire cored wires.
