ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REVERSE THE GEARS ON A FARMALL 200 WHICH HAS BEEN UNDER A ONE ROW COTTON PICKER. IT IS CURRENTLY IN THE REVERSE STATUS AND SLOW GEARED TO RUN THE PICKER

Check around but dont you just slide the axles out then remove and replace the diff gearsa half turn so it drives the axles the forward way someone will answer that used to do it every yr for other farm use.

We never sold pickers on the C thru 240 tractors, but, it should be the same as the M and H sized tractors. Remove the transmission top and move the shift lever to the other side and install regular shift rails, those in your tractor are reversed rails. Pull the axles out far enough to flip the differential cage and reassemble everything. Turn your rear wheels so the tread will run forward and be sure to turn the front wheel so the caster will be trailing so it will steer right.

Harold: Don't overlook the fact that someone may have just flipped the differential and nothing more in the beginning. The shift lever and rails could be right.
