super c hydraulic oil in crankcase

My hydraulic oil seems to end up in my crankcase. Is there a seal
in the pump or valve that needs to be replaced and how. thanks

there is an o ring at the bottom of the stearing colum. an easy fix. some of the experts will probably chim in and be more spacific....jimmy

You need to pull the pump to see what seal is used some had a seal and some had an o-ring. Check the shaft as it mite be worn down where the seal goes and then you will need a speedy sleeve over that spot so the new seal can do its job. yOU can take it to any parts place and they can get the parts you need.

I think the oil is leaking through the hydraulic pump,bad seal,very common.

My C done the same thing. there is a o-ring in the small hydraulic pump on the right side of the tractor. There is a shaft that can be brazed up and cut back down to spec. This will fix your problem. I done mine about a year ago and have not had any problems since.

Here's a parts breakdown on the pump. The old seal may have worn a groove and you may need a speedi-sleeve. Napa has them to cover that area.
