Our 4H club is at the stage of painting the rims for our W-4 and while sandblasting we found both silver and white paint on the rims.What color is the right one for a W-4

The very early W-4, W-6, H and M etc. had red rims, They started using galvanized rims sometime in the early 1940s.

Here is a picture of a farmall m prototype and it has galvenized rims. I don't think they ever painted them red. But i might be wrong.
