Farmall H 2-way valve for hydros

Looking for a place to buy a used or new 2-way valve to operate a 2-way cylinder on my haybine. Someone told me steelwheelranch, but hes in the middle east for a tour of duty. Checked with mult. IH dealers in the area with no luck.

Looking for the one that mounts were the dipstick for the hydro fluid is on a farmall H. It also has a long control rod just like the one already on the H. I've seen them on H's and M's.
Let me know if this is what you can get
Thanks

No, I cannot get those. That style is no longer available new. It will have to be found in a salvage yard.

I CAN fix you up with a brand new valve that will do the same thing and probably for less money. The new valve can be mounted in any location that is convenient for you, and then run a return hose to the filler neck.

just to make sure were are on the same page, the valve will make it so my 1-way hydro system will be able to operate a 2-way cylinder? Right know it can only give pressure going up, need the valve to split it so it can rasie and lower a cylinder. Can you upload a picture of it?

From what I have read here about Hs and Ms, and what I learned in working on hydraulics for 30 odd years, you will need to plumb from the pressure port of the 2-way, into the existing valve outlet and then tie the factory 1-way valve in the open position. Then the new valve can be situated wherever is handy, but the new valve will need to be open centered, or the pump will be pressurized all the time, thus building heat. Open centered valve will return unpressurized to the reservoir until the 2-way valve is activated either direction. An aftermarket 2-way could be mounted in a much handier position than the factory 2-way valve. TSC sells them complete with a handle, in single and two spool configurations.

Mike's son is the one in the middle east, thus the web site is not kept up to date. The owner, Mike Bunck is there -- 785-548-7437. A few years ago he had a buyer for all the valves he could find, but call him anyway. You can use a spool valve and route the return back to the reservoir.
