I thought I saw a picture of one in one of my IH books. Can't remember if it was a corn or cotton picker OR which book, for that matter. Can't find the picture. I may just be having a case of the crazies, Ach, who knows... Thanks - Mike

Not that I recall, but we did pull a Woods Bros. (Dearborn) picker with a Super C one fall... handled it okay.
John Deere had a one row mounted picker, I believe it was a 127 that would fit a B or 50 sized tractor, but don't remember ever seeing an IH single row mounted.

There was a one row mounted snapper for the Super C. Can't remember the model number right now. Not many made, would like to find one.

Yes it was one half of the 20-24 series mounted on the right side. From time to time you will see one for sale but they will bring good money.

Yes, it was mounted on the right side, was Model 2-C 10. On a Super C, you had to remove the Fast Hitch to mount it. I have one...worked pretty good 50 years ago!! Cmore

Do you (or anyone) have a picture you could post? I'd like to see one.... I was raised in Iowa corn country and never saw one. Will most likely never see one here in wheat country. Had lots of Hs and Ms and later numbered models with 24, 2ME and 2MH pickers in the area, but no mounted pickers on anything smaller than an H.

My dad had a l M on his F12, bought a new 45 H and couldn't get correct pto adaptor so sold picker to my uncle, mounted it on his F12 and bought a 24 for the H the next year, bad move.

There was a one row low drum cotton picker made for the Farmall C, SC and later same framed tractors. They were for short low yield cotton. Most all Delta cotton required high drum pickers.

Thanks for the replies. I did run across the picture I was thinking of, today. It's in my 150 Years O' IH book. The picture I was thinking of is of a 2 row cotton harvester on a B. Now that I know there's a corn picker for a C, I might have to put that on the list of stuff to get. Might help to have a C to put it on, too. Good thing I'll have more storage space when the shed foundation's done. - Mike

That looks SO cool.... I can tell you from first hand experience that the Super C will have no trouble powerwise handling a single row picker. The single row "snapper" should be a piece of cake. If there was a better small row crop tractor made than the C, SC, etc. series, I don't know what it would have been. They were so far ahead of JD, Allis or anyone else in their day, it wasn't even close.
