Cub 154 hydraulics/transmission oil

I probably need to change or at least add to the hydraulic/transmission oil of my 1969 Cub 154. Owners manual says IH Hy-Tran. Is that even available? Or, what else is suitable/

Its available at Case/IH/Whatever they are dealers.

I would tell you that John Deeres "Hytran" will work, and that theres others out there that are just as good. But if I did that, Id probably get blasted for it. I personally use this GRC brand called Tractor Fluid. Been using it for may years now, and havent had any problems.

John, Thanks for the good information. Don't know when I last changed the transmission hydraulics oil on the Cub 154 and the hyrdraulics to lift the mower deck is slow. I have not ran it much in the past three years, so could be some condensation in the oil too. So, probably time to change the oil and filter and see what happens.
