Dual fuel strainer

If you have a dual fuel Farmall H, looking at the fuel strainer from above (tank side) with the shut off lever at 6 o'clock, where are the inlet from the small gas tank and outlet to the carb located?? I have one I'm not sure is correct. It has the outlet at 12 o'clock and the inlet at 3.

The outlet on a non-dual fuel H is at 12:00, and since the small starting tank is located ahead of and to the right, I think the 3:00 position would be about right, unless you have an early version which had the sediment bowl mounted to the small tank, but that's another story.

The way your tractor is set up is correct, outlet at 12, inlet at 3.

The replacement one from OEM is incorrect, I am still waiting for them to come up with the correct one.
