I'm going to help a friend with a Farmall C carb. He took it apart once. I'm going to again and really clean it. How many turns out is a good place to start on the adjustment screw? thanks.

The kit you buy will have those specs included in the instructions.

I usually start at 2 to 2 1/2 turns open. That will most likely get it started so you can fine tune the adjustment.

Your instructions should tell you that the adjustments are backward. The more you turn the adjustment screw out, the leaner it gets. Watch your spark plugs. If they carbon up you are too rich.
