Spent part of the day at this show; second visit, first about eight years ago. Pleasant upper 70's, some good shade and the brats at St. John's Lutheran were great. Mmmm, and the gas engine powered homemade ice cream for $2.50, what a bargin. One 340, 560 row crops on display and a 460 back in the trailerin' in area. Arriving before noon, I was seeing quit a few trailering out already. Lots of steam engines and action. Thresherman, if you see this, the fellow operating the Case steamer and wearing suspenders, I thought, sure knew how to work his nice machine. Amused me how he was even carefully selecting which pieces of wood to 'stoke' the firebox with. Good live exhibits in buildings. And the large white building next to the woodworking shop, that is built the way they used to make em', ends are different also, back end is board and batten. Worth the trip.
