carb photos to help identification

Hello all,

Since I wasn't getting much advice on identifying my carb, I've taken a few pictures.

I have two basic questions: Can you tell what model carb this is from the first two pictures? And what do you make of the apparent small crack under what I think is the jet passage plug? Is that fixable or do I need a new carb?

If the embedded pictures don't work, you can try:

Thanks!

Your carburetor is a Zenith. That is all we can tell you without knowing what the numbers are on that small, round tag that is on top and visible in the picture.

I can't see any numbers on that round metal tag!

I'll try taking the carb off the tractor entirely and see if I can see anything with a magnifying glass or something.

Also, I think it's leaking gas from the bottom, but not from the crack shown in the third picture.

I hadn't noticed the crack until you mentioned it. The crack can be fixed by brazing it, but if it were mine, I would consider that carb to be toast and go looking for a new, or at least better, carburetor.
