I would like to find a manual for my recently
acqired tractor.
I need wireing diagrams also.

You can get manuals from several sources. If you want a quality reprint, you need to go to Binder Books. You can probably guess their web address, or use Google to find it. I'd put the link here except it is on this site's dirty word list.

By the way, the 300U was built only in '55 and '56.

The man I bought it from said it was a '52-'53
utility 300.
This is my first venture with a tractor.

This should do for diagrams, The tractor is a 55 or 56, no other possibility. They are great units, enjoy it. There are many topics in the archives (search For box) that detail that tractor. Welcome to the forum.
