IH3414 Hydraulic bleeding

I have a manual that tells you how to bleed the system, it says:

[b:1b676ba379]"To bleed the system, fill reservoir to the bottom of filler hole then start engine and cycle system until any air is bled from system. Recheck reservoir fluid level and add fluid as required"[/b:1b676ba379]

Now I am NEW to this so this may be a stupid questions. I had to change a hose for the back hoe and now it works very slow and is very week.

It says to fill to the bottom of filler hole, Where is the "bottom of filler hole"?
Do I take the filter out to see this?
I filled the Hydraulic tank up and started the engine. I had left the cap off and nothing would work. When I screwed the cap to the Hydraulic tank back on the hoe would work but was slow and weak.
Now I had to unscrew 3 lines that go under the hoe seat to change the new line. So I assume air is in the lines.

The direction really don't make any since to me. Can any help me on bleeding the system?

Thanks, Terry

Not the filter, the filler; where the oil is put into the reservoir. Where ever the Hydro oil is put into the reservoir, usually at a tube that has a self contained dipstick. In this case they say to the filler hole. Is this a self contained unit on the 3414?

3414. just a cap you take off of the top where you put the filter is. Thats where the fluid goes in.

Yes it is, All it has is a hole in the bottom were the hose goes and on top is the filler cap and next to it looks like some kind of breather cap with a few holes around the top.
