farmall hydraulic lines

Does any one know how International attached the ends on the (metal tubing)hydraulic lines on the on the c, super c, super a? I have seen them fixed by brazing them but if the tube is boken. How do you fix them. (And not with a hose) the tubes can be made but I can not find any one that know how to put them on and the old one removed.

If the new tube can be fabricated I would still consider brazing.

To butt-join two tubes I'd find the next size of tubing and make a sleeve - similar concept to copper sweat-solder coupling, although I would use steel.

If you have to go back to the end block on the pump, I'd carefully bore or ream the block for a very close fit (tap fit, very slight press) and then braze. Tig welding is always a possibility (the demo pieces are out there of aluminum pop cans and gum wrappers tig welded together) but a greater skill level would be required...brazing is going to be a process that's much more forgiving with a thin section in my opinion.

They probably had the hose crimped on the tubing.
Try this web site for your hoses. Hal
