Working on getting my tractor ready for paint. From talking to guys at the shows the govener had safty wire from the factory that went through the govener bolts. This was so that the dealer could tell if the owner had been fooling with the govener settings. Dose any one know in what configuretaion this was wired. Or does some one have a picture of the wiring? Also did it have a seal on it?

Thanks in advance JRay

The wire goes through holes in the heads of the top two bolts for the gov. cover and the head of the left side bolt (one of two) that holds the gov. connecting rod housing to the top of the gov. I bought mine, with the lead crimp seal from Pilot Knob Restorations in Galena, IL. I have a Super H but I'm pretty sure the gover arrangement is very similar if not identical on the 350.
