Farmall M Diesel Filter Glass Gar

My Farmall M Diesel has a glass jar at the filter cans. I guess it's sort of like a sediment jar on a gas machine. The jar is cracked and we were able to use it for a while but it got worse and is now letting air in and really messing up the way it runs. I tried a few of the regular suppliers and no one seems to have these. Does anyone know where I can get one of these jars?
 
My Dad gave a jar to me a couple of weeks ago that might fit it. I will see if it fits in my 400. If it does, make and offer to me and I will mail it to you .

Your local Case IH dealerr should be able to get them.....we busted one taking it off one day. If they don"t have an MD book try a 450 etc they are all the same.
 
And if they don't, then FP Smith Equipment has them. I don't recall the part number at the moment (60877 ?), but it was used on nearly all the IH tractor diesels of that era. Same water trap fits my MD and TD18s.
 
Steve, Thanks for your responce. I called a local Case dealer and he said he can get them. I ordered it before I saw your post. Hold on to it though, We'll see if it actually shows up at my door.
