Farmall 450 Axle

I bought as Farmall 450 and one axle is longer than all the other 400 450 tractors we have around. What is this?

Probably a replacement axle has been put in for a broken axle--tractor was probably used on a picker. We had both axles on our 450 break with the picker on it. I recall the mechanic putting in a 560 axle. They also checked what the length was. I remember there being 2 lengths.

probably why late 450's and 560's have one keyway in the axle that way there is a little more 'meat' in it.
