Good Afternoon Bob,
Some fellas have fabricated hydraulics on their A by using an old power steering pump, and running it off of their fan belt. You would need a couple of brackets and a larger fan belt to accomodate another pulley.
Try doing a search and you may come up with some older threads on this issue !

Jim: You also have to change the torque tube, Super A torque tube is flat on top to accomodate factory hydraulics. Farmall A torque tube is round on top. Most will agree, you may as well go buy a SA, as change both block and torque tube.

Running from the crankshaft pulley would be easy, too...

True if going for a full IH based system. I was just getting a pump on it, assuming the system would be adhock as well. Jim
