i recently purchased a super h in need of brakes. i replaced the discs and actuator springs and cleaned the balls and the pockets also replacing the adjusting bolts as well as the springs, the brakes work now, but when i apply the brakes i here a clunk, also when backing up when i push down on the pedal and the tractor comes to a stop the brake pedal pushes back upward, never owning a tractor with disc brakes i am wondering if this is normal or should i be looking for something i did wrong. thanks in advance

That is an indication that there is a little too much total clearance in the housing. The housing mating surface can be milled to reduce the total stack clearance to about .010" But if it is stopping, pat it on the housing and hope it continues to do so. They do push back on the pedal some in reverse. Again if it stops, and does not lock up and slide it is pretty close to good. JimN
