806 hydraulic connection point location problem

I am trying to hook up a loader to 806 and just cant seem to find a point to connect the pressure or the return line. I have an external joystick controller. The threaded spots underneath the steering won"t work because there is nothing there on either side. I removed the plugs and it just goes straight thru. No lines connected on the back. Underneath the seat I have the two valves which have stuff connected. Is there something that I am missing here or am I just stuck using the levers on the side of the seat. I really don"t want to use them. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Heres a couple pics of the "power beyond valve" on my 806 that feeds the joystick contoller of the 2355 loader. With the "PB" you don't tie up the hyd remotes and you can use the loader when there are hyd hoses hooked into the remotes.

Where are those hoses hooked too? I do not want to sound stupid but I am not very knowledgeable about this tractor. Do I need to go buy a PBV? If so, where can I get it and where do I put it? I got the joystick from Burden Surplus Center. They seem to have the best pricing on hydraulic things.
Is the first picture of something underneath the seat? I do not recall seeing anything that looks like that. I can"t go out and look since the tractor is 50 miles away. Thank you so much for your reply. Don

The power beyond is a plate that goes on the end of the valve stack under the seat. I'm not sure where to get one. They're not very common. Maybe you can get one at a caseIH dealer, or if you're lucky, a salvage yard.

I think most people just use the built-in levers next to the seat to run a loader. I have seen dozens of these tractors with loaders over the years and I have NEVER seen one with a joystick. Converting them to power beyond is a pain in the butt, and the parts are expensive and hard to find IMHO.

Because you have an 806 you may be lucky in that you'll only have to replace the end plate on the valve stack. Newer tractors have a special "end" valve that has the end plate cast as part of the valve. You would need to replace the entire outside valve with one that has a replaceable end plate. Figure another $500 or so for that; that's what it cost Dad for the second valve on the 756 in the early 1980's. I'd imagine prices have gone up since then.

The hoses goto your joystick valve. One is pressure the other is return. The piece that the hoses go into is the power beyond plate. Thats the part you need and it bolts to the left remote hydraulic valve under the seat. You will need a straight thru valve not the end type valve your tractor most likely has now. You will also need to cut a hole thru the left cast seat support for the hoses. One other option is to connect to one of your rear remotes and tie the lever in one position. That would have oil flowing thru your joystick valve at all times. One draw back is you lose the use of one remote for other purposes.

The top picture is at the back of the operator's platform on the left side under the seat. The other picture, not bery good, shows the plate bolted to the valve stack under the seat.

I posted these pics awhile back for someone else wanting to add a loader but only had one hyd remote. As I recall he said later that his valve stack was one opiece & couldn't add another valve stack or "PBV" to it. I believe this was on a 706 so you need to check your 806.

Another option, though not as good IMO, would be to add a Fazze valve that would plug into the existing remotes then you could switch back & forth using an electrical switch between the remote outlets & the loader valve. Problem would be that the hyd remote lever would have to be engage to ork the joystick.

Sounds as if Rustyfarmall can fix you up on the "PBV" at a reasonable price. I bought my 806 more to fill in my son & my '06 series lineup. He has a 706 w 310D & we cown a 1206 & wanted an 806 to fill the gap. The loader was already on the tractor & settupp with the "PBV" and I debated selling the loader as we already have a backhoe but have found it to be handy to have. Personally, for the ease of use & not having to plug & unplug hyd hoses the "PBV" is worth every penny. I have had other tractors where the loader hyds worked thru the hyd remotes & they were a PITA, especially when you have something like a hyd blade on the 3pt & are switching back & forth between the loader & the blade. I bought the plate and installed. Nothing happened. I hooked the controller to the other remotes in the back and when I hold the lever up to start the fluid running, it works fine. What did I do wrong? Is the second valve different? Do I need to replace the inards with a different configuration? Something is goofy. I can use it this way with the first lever tied back but seems pointless and a complete waste of money. I could have done that from the get go. I am definitely either doing something wrong or have the wrong kind of valve. Please assist me if you can.
Thanks. Don
