Farmall Super AV

I am looking for a good tractor to cultivate my small garden. I would like to buy a small tractor that is some what rare so it has the potential of being worth some money one day. I have spent a lot of time restoring a M Farmall to a condition where I have yet to see another one. The problem is that unless it is a rare tractor to start with you will never get your money back out of it after you truely restore it. So does the Super AV meet this requirement? If so, how much should I pay for a good one in ready to work condition. Any other suggestions on a good tractor?

Sounds like a Super A-1 would better fit the description of what you are looking for, in all respects.

Grademan: There is no such thing as a rare Farmall tractor out of the 40s, 50s, and 60s. IH was king of the market in those days, almost everything they built, sold in big numbers.

As Mike said, try a Farmall Super A-1 or Super A-1-I. Only 1,957 were built and of the 1,957 only 58 were I or Industrials.
