IH Farmall C Serial #2377

$500 on the low side, $2500 on the high side. Typical C is about $1500, I paid $1550 for one and $1650 for another if I remember right. Depends on condition and agreement between buyer and seller. Whatever you sell it for becomes what it is worth.

Identification Plate under seat indicates Model FC, however markings on the top cover over motor says: McCoormick IH Farmall Super C
Would that suggest that that section had been replaced and not original? The serial number seems to indicate that it is a 1948 and it appears that the Super C wasn't around until 1951.

When you mention the top cover over the motor, is that the hood? When I bought my "C" for $1000 the hood said Super C but it was, based on the serial number by the #1 cylinder, just a 1948 C. I learned afterwards that I should have been able to tell by the amount of space over the hydraulic resevoir that is was a C. The Super C has a larger space.

FC is a Super C, The after market decal kits come with two C decals and two Super decals, that is why they're so many miss labeled Cs out there and the easiest way to tell them apart is the curved pedals on the Supers.

You are correct that the Super C has curved pedals, but C's also had 'FC' on the serial tag. I have a 50 C and it has FC on the tag, but it is obviously a C. Super C has a 123 cu in engine, larger grille, and the curved pedals. Some Super's also have fast hitch, but not all, and some C's have been retrofitted with the hitch so that is not a good indication either. Sounds like someone put the Super C decals on a C.
