Need a Value for IH-M

We received an IH-M as a donation to sell, we are not informed as to the value of this item. At this point the only information that I have is that the owner states it is in "choice" condition. Can anyone give me an idea of the value being sold in northern MN?

Without seeing pics it's impossible to put a fair value on the tractor. Just too many variables.

I woiuld suggest thgough, if it's an orginaziation, such as FFA, that selling this tractor I would look at selling raffle tickets or holding an auction. I've seen several FFA clubs make some good money going the raffle ticket route.

In a VERY round number for a sight-unseen M, I'd say $1,000.

I concur that it is impossible to value a tractor sight unseen. Choice is in the eye of the beholder. $1000 is an acceptable starting point, but many M's are priced in the $2000 to $4000 range. If it is fully restored M-TA, they sell for $10,000 plus. Better get some some local IH owners/collectors to look at it to get the proper estimate of value.

Run of the mill M's are a max of $1500, can sell for as little as $500. Unusual to get more than $2000.
