Farmall A governor

I"m rebuilding the gov. on my A and am planning on pre-lubing the needle bearings as I put it together. Question is, should I use the same oil as I have in the engine, a light weight grease, or something else?

I use light lithium engine assembly grease, but motor oil is probably just as good. After all, that's all the internal governor parts have to "live on" for the rest of their useful life!

just drop them in a dish of clean motor oil just like pre lubing a hydraulic lifter. Good luck.

Yes that will be fine cause as soon as the engine runs there will be lots of oin getting there.
