We are working to resolve the issue ASAP! Thanks for your patience!

I am an owner of a International Harvester 423 McCormick diesel tractor (3 ceylinder). Now the machine reached to a point where it requires an engine overhaul. Unfortunately I do not have any service manual with me to get the manufactures specifications. As we all know now these tractors are not in production any more & the company has changed to CASEIH, therefore please send me technical details for the engine. This may include piston sizes, piston pin sizes, piston rings clearance & etc.

Thank you

Sashika: That is an European built tractor that was never marketed in North America. Few folks on YT will know anything about it. My recomendation is go to CaseIH,

Hugh MacKay:
Thanks for the information. As you said I tried to contact from CaseIH several months back up to today but unfortunately I was unable to get any information. After trying soo many times I decided to write to this as the final hope of mine. Please can you help me to solve this problem? because I am in deep mess.....

Hi Sashika , Hugh is correct it is a European IH model. I did a Google on IH 423 and some info indicated that the 423 was built in Neuss Germany and has a 3 cyl D-155 engine with about 40HP. The most common 3 cyl Diesels made in Neuss were the D-155 and D-179 engines. All the Diesel engines made in Neuss used common parts and there were a 3,4,and 6 cyl versions the only differences were the crankshafts, pistons, rods and sleeves.
See this link: http://www.ihace.de/01_schlepper/0423/423.htm
I tried going to caseih.com then UK but would not let me access the search for parts unless I had a login but if I go to caseih.com and enter from Canada then I can go search for parts and enter D-155 and it gives me the parts listing for D-155 3 cyl Diesel engine. It would appear from parts listing that the D-155 3cyl shares parts with D-206 4cyl and D-310 6cyl Diesel engines.

Good Luck

Sashika: I said few people on YT would know, you've found one of them in JimB. The other guy is MJ a Yorkshire man from England.
