IH 856 tractor hydraulic remotes

Help Help! I just bought an IH 856 with a loader that is plumbed into the remote on the back and it just has the one remote. I need to know if there is a way to plumb into the hydraulics of the tractor and also add another remote. The local John Deere man can't or won't figure it out. Any help much appreciated, Thanks, Ern

I have an 806 with a loader that has two hyd remotes on the rear PLUS a "power beyond valve" which allows the the loader to be operated without using the hyd remotes on the back of the tractor. Makes it nice as I can use the loader & bucket while having another hyd cylinder(s) hooked into the remotes.

I posted a couple pics of the valve under the seat a couple weeks ago. I don't remember the thread but someone was asking a similiar question about a 706 & loader. I'll see if I can find the thread & post a link.

Like previous poster said, power beyond valve is way to go. Also, your one valve may not be open on the outside end so you would have to get a different valve also and same thing, when adding a second remote you need one open on both side where it bolts up.

I used to own an 856 with two remotes from the factory. Pay a visit to a salvage yard and you can probably find what you need. If your local John Deere man doesn't want to help, take your business elsewhere.

Hey guys, Thanks for the info. Is the power beyond valve something I can get at a parts house or do I need to start scouring the salvage yards? Ern.

I saw a triple remote valve off an 86 series on ebay a week or two ago, sold for not much of anything, another option might be to look out for something like that and plumb it into the remotes on your tractor.
