a while back somebody was interested in the last of the farmall m tractors. my 52 m serial number is in teh 296000 series, and from the ansewrs i got yesterday, the last one was 298218, so it was about one of the last 2000 off the assembly line. here are some pics, its a working girl, no trailer queen, and as far as i know, still has the original paint and decals, also rather well worn!!

She's a sweetheart, Glennster. Disc brakes and all. I don't think I'd repaint that one - just carefully buff 'er out and then give it a waxing, after a good pressure wash, of course. My SM has less paint than that and I gave 'er the ol' buffing job..... Personally, I like that look.
Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

rears are bfg silvertowns. the bracket by the throttle holds an extra spring to keep the throttle locked down. i think it was added when the welder was installed to be sure the throttle held steady, dont see any other reason, so i left it on there.

Interesting drive for the welder. Did you put the V-belt pulley on the belt drive yourself? belt appears to be an old IH belt with the red insert where the numbers are. I have thought about doing something similiar to drive an external hyd pump to get enough capacity to lift a hyd auger

I was wondering the same thing when I saw the block on the clutch. I like the belt drive welder. I have been contemplating installing a ZENA welder on the Farmall 504 diesel. By the way, slick original speciman you have there.
